[Clever title relating to Transformers/robots]

Sun Jun 28, 2009, 1:38 PM
I haven't seen the new Transformers movie. I didn't have cable as a kid and I got most of my toys from garage sales, so I never really got into the whole Transformers craze. (I had a few of the toys, but since I'd gotten them second hand a lot of them were all busted up, and while they were interesting they didn't really click with me. Why would I want a gaudily colored F-15 that turns into an unposeable robot when I had He-Man or freakin' Dino-Riders?) (The bug ones were pretty cool though.)

So yeah, I don't really have a lot of reason to go rushing out to see the new movie. I may see it on DVD eventually. From what I hear it's getting pretty abysmal reviews, but then so have a few other movies I've enjoyed.

But as to the reason for this journal entry, this review made me laugh: [link]
